“I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven. As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy”. Psalm 123:1,2.

Recently, God has spoken to us about the need to be with our eyes fixed on Him in an attitude of dependency. What do we need to do to obtain the help we need to preach the gospel to a secular generation that is heading every day toward paganism? A generation that regards the sacred things with an air of contempt.

How to obtain the necessary instructions so that in front of the arrogant and their contempt, we can keep alight the flame of hope and the conviction that we serve a God who is in control of all things?

The answer is to be vigilant with our eyes on the Lord God. From His throne comes instructions and commands to take the right decisions. It just take one move from the hand of the Lord for things to happen and this move can happen anytime.

Teach us, O Lord, to have our eyes on you and patiently wait for your move.

With each passing day, we are establishing this new phase of our ministry. At the moment we are praying and working to begin work among the international communities in the region. We already have some contacts among Filipinos, Indians, Africans and others. Our desire is to bring them the precious Word of God and help them to integrate in British society.

In Bishop's Stortford, three sisters are preparing to be baptized at the end of the month of June 2013. The two ladies in the picture are mother and daughter. God has been so gracious to this small congregation that against the odds has been growing every day.

In Dereham, Pastor Marcos Hernandez, who took over the congregation last year, will move there in August, with the whole family. This will give him the opportunity to further consolidate the congregation and strengthen the bonds of friendship in the community.

We are all doing well. We are in the middle of spring and although the temperature is very low for this time of year, we have had some sunny days and it encourages us enough.

We are eagerly waiting for the summer and we are planning to take two-week vacation in order to recharge.

Prayer Requests

Pray for the beginning of the work among the international communities.

Pray for Pastor Marcos Hernandez home move. That everything will run as planned.

Pray for the sisters who will be baptized in June. Pray that the Lord will protect them from all the snares of the enemy.

Pray for our family. We need wisdom in making decisions in our ministry.

Pray for IM. Pray that the Lord will give the finance necessary to send more missionaries overseas and for wisdom for those who are involved in decision making within the organization.

Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, we thank our gracious God for your participation in the work of the Lord. May he make you grow in wisdom and grace in order to become prosperous to the praise of His name.

Let us continue with our focused on the Lord our God.
