Last day of school 2013—packing up the room for a move in the fall. These were such lovely students; let’s pack them up to keep as well.

It's time for school and for me that means time to head to Thailand. The school in the northern most part of Thailand serves missionary families and a small percentage of other local families. You can learn more about the school here.
We needed to enlarge the elementary facility to make room for our CRICS (Chiang Rai International Christian School) growing enrollment. The planning and beginning of additional rooms was begun last spring. I was in on some of those plans and will be excited to see the progress. The four new rooms are almost finished.
They have only 5 or 6 Kindergarten students for me this year. But to keep me busy enough there is one of the new rooms to move into and set up. Then there is the large project of documenting curriculum that goes with moving toward full accreditation, making this a more than full time job.
Perhaps another role for me is one of encouraging those in various ministries. My efforts might include -- sharing a meal, or a hike, worshiping, preparing a project, or just talking together. They express appreciation; I am blessed tremendously.
The LORD is doing a good work in northern Thailand and at this fledgling school. Please keep all His work and me in your prayers.
Grace and peace,
