Life has been surprising for our family the last couple of months.  J.D. and I have been traveling to Cochabamba frequently to help with the transition of the House of Hope.  Pray as we start the long process of helping the House of Hope ministry obtain their status as a foundation here in Bolivia.  Also, pray for the directors, Carmen Flores and her husband Richard Achu.  This transition has been a challenging one for them and their three kids.

Grace and I (Rhonda) had the honor to work with our colleague, Global Missionary Kristy Engel and 2 other volunteers from the US.  They came down to volunteer with a group of Bolivian doctors and participate in medical clinics in different ministry around Cochabamba.  I worked with the medical side of things and Grace was a translator for us.  Grace did a wonderful job as an official translator with her first mission team.

With the changes in the House of Hope, I will be phasing out my volunteering at the kid’s school as soon as possible so I can begin focusing my time solely on the ministry of the House of Hope.  J.D. continues his work with the pastors here in Santa Cruz and also to set up the new national School of Leaders program in the different departments throughout the country.  New groups are forming as we speak and we are hoping to have over 250 students by March that are enrolled in the program.  Please take a moment and pray for God to raise up leaders and pastors here in Bolivia.
