Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting. I am back home after a four day visit to many churches and women groups. In the capital city of Port-au-Prince, I attended the meeting organized by the Protestant Federation of all the churches in Haiti. This time the idea was to discuss having all the women in all the protestant churches join the Federation by organizing the Federation of all the Protestant Women in Haiti.

Women who attended the first meeting were all excited to be organized knowing that together they can achieve more and go a long way. They voted a preliminary committee. More meetings will follow to fix the real contour of the Women Federation and to plan the first Protestant Women Congress.

The Women Association of the Haitian Baptist Convention had more delegates than any other denomination in the Country.

Prior to attending this important meeting, I met with the leaders of the Haiti Baptist Mission in the mountain of Fermathe. We discussed more about the progress women are making in the Country and how they can be more united to be strong.

Thank you for praying for this voyage. It was long, tiring but your prayers and your supports are just like honey to restore some energy.

Please stay tuned for the rest of the voyage in the South.

In Haiti,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Friends,

The picture is Kihomi with Madame Wallace Turnbull, founders of a Baptist Mission in Haiti.  Kihomi and her have worked together to help the Haitian women for years.

This is the first of Kihomi’s reports of her trip south to attend many meetings and reconnect with the women of Haiti.  As she stated “stay tuned”.

In Christ,
