Nzunga's Airport Badge
Dear Loved Ones,
Greeting. Tuesday April 11, 2017, we had a quick breakfast of boiled banana plantain and fried eggs (yummy). Mamie Kihomi as she is called here went to Bas-Limbe to meet with women in development program. I, Nzunga, went to the international airport of Cap-Haitian to attend a seminar on Airport security. All those who work at the airport and all those who are in charge of meeting the planes at the tarmac have to attend this security seminar. After the seminar I was given my 2017 badge as I meet our Agape Flight plane.
From the airport I went to the eye clinic to get the overview of the whole situation of the clinic while I was absent. The building are well maintained. The spirit of the staff remains very high and positive. The patients I saw there were content to be there to receive good care. Dr. Dupuy and Dr. Compere were in the operating room operating on children. I was really happy to see the ministry to the children.
Toward the end of the day I led a short staff meeting to discuss of the participation of the eye clinic to the funeral of the head nurse's mother this coming Saturday.
Before we departed from the eye clinic Dr. Dupuy and I talked about the laboratory products I need to buy in the capital city of Port-au-Prince and some equipment I need to send back to the States for repair.
Thank you for keeping us in your prayers.
Nzunga & Kihomi
They have been back in Haiti less than a week and already are catching up on what has happened in their absence and getting back in the swing of their ministry. Their work ethic is something to admire.
I pray that this Easter season where we celebrate the most important happening in the Christian faith, Jesus resurrection, that He will rise in your heart anew.
He has arisen!
